# Is there a way to specify the type of material to be cut when sending measurements?

could there be ready categorys made to select 2x4 or 2x6 etc?

Hello, thanks for sharing! Currently there is not but happy to pass your feedback along to our team.

One way to accomplish this in the meantime might be to make a different “Group” (either on the T1 or on the ROCK App) that correlates to each material you want to cut.
