Hiya, I’m designing a 3d printed cutting box for my GCB 18V-63 bandsaw, and I intend to integrate the M1 into the design of the box

If I only cut profile and other similar items with a large width, I could make it be a standard fence and be done with it, but because I’m cutting smaller items like M8 screw rods, I want the measurement wheel to be as close to the wall as possible, so I might design an offset fence to achieve this if the wheel isn’t close enough to the fence

If anyone could provide me with these two measurements, that would be much appreciated

I’d do it myself, but I’ll be away from the jobsite for two weeks, so I won’t have access to my M1

Ill have to bring it off site one of these days to take pictures, no phones on site and all that

But here’s the result so far:

-its pretty accurate
-im spending significantly less time vacuuming
-I may be stupid but im not quite understanding the button controls and how to tell if its on or off
-because of the way I designed it, its a bit hard to glide the workpiece through the jig accurately.
-i will iterate on the design now that ive got valuable test data, hopefully ill remember to bring both the jig and the M1 home so I can print a second design that addresses the shortcomings of the prototype
As a bonus, now all the fasteners and parts ive ordered are gonna be available to me, making printing and assembly a lot simpler
