Just got my T1 for Christmas. What a great gift.
the problem is that I thinks it was someone else’s return. It had a bunch of measure to stores in it from another user. Whenever it shuts off, I have to remove the battery to get it to turn on. Plus the side display keeps flashing.
Is this normal? Or, do I have a bad unit? Yes, I updated the firmware.

What happens when you press the power button on the side of the tool with the unit turned off as that should turn on the tool?

That worked, I wasn’t holding the button long enough.
