Is there a way to make the blade lock tighter?

Probably a long shot, but I wish the blade lock held the tape in place a lot more tightly. When I’m using the laser to mark a line, it’s pretty easy to accidentally push or pull the tape off the measurement I want.

So, is there a way to tighten the lock, something closer to a traditional tape measure?

Hey Doug, nothing at this time. We are always working to improve the design as maintaining an auto lock is a difficult balance of material properties, mechanics, and long term reliability and look forward to continuing to iterate in future versions!
