I’m evaluating the P1L Tagger and possibly the T1 Tomahawk for a small hardwood lumber and cabinet shop. My goal is to label and track individual boards from the time they enter the shop until they are either sold or used in a project.
My ideal workflow would be:
- Measure incoming boards with the T1, calc the board footage
- Print a QR label with the P1L
- Store dimensions, species, and board footage digitally
- Scan boards later when sold or consumed
- Create a new labeled remnant if part of a board is left over
Before I go too far down that path, I’m trying to understand what the REEKON ecosystem and BOLDR platform are actually capable of today.
Can BOLDR function as a lightweight inventory database, or is it primarily an asset tagging and documentation platform?
If it can’t support some or all of the workflow above, how are other users leveraging it? I’m happy to adjust my process to fit the tool if there is a simpler or more practical way to accomplish something similar within the REEKON ecosystem.
I’d love to hear real-world examples of how people are using it beyond traditional construction asset tracking.
