Very Popular Electric Vehicle Factory - Helical Pile Quality Control

Howdy. As a Geotech field engineer, I put some miles on my tape measure when installing helical piles. While it is perfectly acceptable and preferred to use a GPS to log elevations for cut-off points, sometimes, its more practical to pull a tape. For instance, I recently did a project in the new (heavily crowded) electric truck facility that required hundreds of measurements. With my regular tape, I had to write down every pile ID and height on a notepad. Im looking forward to trying out the T1 in that application to save myself some hassle and increase the speed and efficiency of our projects!

There are so many uses for the T1 I can’t even begin to imagine. I can’t wait to show my customers and fellow tradesmen this ground breaking measuring tape. I think they’re gonna be blown away!
REEKON had better patent the hell out of this because the other tool companies are gonna copy this

very nice and thanks for sharing! What do you use to measure the elevation now of the piles to determine how much needs to be cut off? Is it always GPS or do you use laser levels/detectors too?

Depending on the scenario, it could be a laser for quick jobs, a Leica Network GPS in most outdoors cases, or a total station.

cool to see, we have played around with a few testers/customers using similar applications, will look forward to getting you your T1 in the coming months to see how both this and your existing HW/SW can work together (and avert the need to write down 100+ measurements)!
