I just upgraded the firmware to v0.4.9. On the previous firmware, when a USB-C cord was inserted, the screens would read BATTERY CHARGING. Now that notification is gone when plugged in. Was this an intentional update, or did something go wrong?
Hey Scotty, this should still come up when a powered USB C cord is plugged in. Try a different cord/power brick as well as restarting the T1

I received my T1 a few days ago. When I charged it for the first time (with the original firmware), I got the “Battery Charging” notification. I then upgraded to the latest firmware (0.5.13). Since then, I no longer see the “Battery Charging” notification when charging. I even re-installed the firmware update to make sure there was no issue during the update. I still do not get the notification when charging. I simply get a lightning bolt (or something like that) symbol next to the battery symbol on the e-ink display. Is this normal?
