My second problem is that every single time I go to use the T1, the battery is completely dead even though I supposedly turned it off completely by holding down the off button for 5 seconds.
Don’t tell me I should remove the battery! That would suck too.
This thing is so frustrating that I am ready to give it a horrible Amazon review that if you leave it on a shelf for a few days it is worthless with a dead battery and just buy a $5 tape measure instead!
Hello Bruce, hope you are doing well. Have you updated to the latest version of the ROCK Jobsite App? If so could you confirm when it was updated and what version you are on as the new firmware appears and works with the newest version of the ROCK app but may take 24 hours before it appears.
For the second point, the battery in the T1 should last around a month without being used if it is turned off. This is also continually improved with new firmware versions as well!
Hello Bruce, could you try restarting your app and phone, I just checked our systems and should be eligible for new upgrade so may just be a cached version that is displaying now
I’m having a problem with the 0.5.13 firmware update - it wants me to recalibrate the tape which I follow through faithfully, but after the 10", and the 1", 2", 3", and 4" it gives me an error of “Values were too far out of range. Please try again.” I have tried it 4 times now, including reinstalling the 0.5.13 firmware but it always comes back with the same error. Suggestions?

I guess the electronics saw that I complained and it actually got me past the 4" mark (I did watch the video, which explained a few things I didn’t know) and was able to get to not only the 0.5.13 update but the 0.6.12 as well. Thanks!
I am still having the same issue where the app says I have the latest version 0.5.13. and therefore won’t update the firmware. I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled 1.1.22, same problem. Restarted Android phone and no change.
Sending my email address as a response failed for some reason. I don’t want to put my email in an open forum. I’ve opened a support request for this instead.
I am having the same issue. Had the update with the keyboard and have been using it, went to update it because it said there was one and it took it back to 0.5.13 and now i cant get it to update to the newest one. Nothing shows up for any updates.
Hi Mike, make sure you have the latest version of the App (1.1.32) and it will take approx 24-48 hours to update as available. Also make sure you restart app as well.
